Baby Casts- Business Start- up Training Course
My intensive two day course focuses on 3D Casting of baby's hands and feet but also includes 2D outprint baby print training.
You will have hands- on experience and you will cast a quality professional finished product which includes a sample for you to take away with you.
The training also introduces you to marketing, social media, pricing, profit margins, getting supplies, customer care......it really does cover everything to to jump- start your business and to avoid the common problems people face.
It is perfect for those who have never done casting (or want to improve their technique) and are considering starting out in business.
About Me
I started Laura's Treasured Prints a number of years ago now and I have built a very successful business which allows me work around my young family.
It has been a huge learning curve but I have loved it and I have built up a wealth of knowledge.
You will learn to make and finish a hand or foot baby cast and also make and finish a 2D Baby hand or foot outprint.
The Course Covers-
Preparing your equipment.
Preparing for your customer
Taking and casting the mould for the 3D cast. This includes hands- on practice with a 'baby model'.
Different ways of taking moulds to get the best results.
Taking an impression of a hand or foot for a 2D plaster outprint .This includes hands- on practice with a 'baby model'.
Painting and other finishes for the 3D casts and 2D outprints
Finishing the casts and outprints to a high standard.
Framing the casts and outprints
Equipment suggestions and suppliers list.

Please note that I provide - all the equipment and all products for both training days and all baby models/ models.
I will pass on many skills to help you start- up and to ensure long-term business success.
My training covers the 'tricks' of the trade that other courses often do not cover.
No previous experience necessary.
