Since I started my business in 2014, my focus has been on producing beautiful, high-quality, bespoke pieces that you can treasure for years to come.
When I started my baby casting in Southampton business, I had been working as a nurse. After helping my husband launch his own business, which I really enjoyed doing, I decided it was time to leave nursing and start my own too!
After a bit of research I stumbled across a baby-casting course in Hampshire, and completely fell in love with the whole casting process. After a lot of practising, I launched my business Laura’s Treasured Prints in 2014. It’s been a huge learning curve as my business has grown and developed but I’ve loved every minute of it.

Since starting Laura's Treasured Prints I have been on many jewellery-making courses to develop my skills and range of silver jewellery. I have completed courses in Silversmithing and resin jewellery making and have a Diploma in Silver Art Clay.
In August 2016, I did further training with the award-winning Artist and Life Caster- C J Munn, of Rock a Belly Life-Casting and I am also now a proud member of The Association of Lifecasters International (ALI).
I have recently added foundry cast fingerprint/handprint jewellery to my range.
I carefully make each piece using the ancient lost art of wax carving. It is then precision cast at a renowned jewellery foundry in the heart of the country, before I lovingly finish and polish it for you myself.
Memorial casts and memorial jewellery
I believe that my previous experience with nursing very sick people has given me the necessary empathy and skills to help me work with families that are caring for a very ill child or an adult or a family going through a bereavement.
I have done memorial casts on-site in hospices, hospitals, and firms of funeral directors and I am very proud to be able to offer you a lasting memory of your loved one.
